KC Concepcion is the daughter of Gabby Concepcion and Sharon Cuneta both matinee idols in the 70 era. She was estranged from her father for thirteen years following her parents marriage annulment and his faher's immigration to the United States in 1995.He was legally adopted by Senator Kiko Pangilinan following the marriage of Pangilinan and Cuneta. She has younger half-sisters from both her mother's and father's subsequent relationships: Simone Francesca Emmanuelle and Mariel Daniella Sophia from her mother's marriage to Pangilinan; and from her father's various partners: Gabrielle Julia Marie (with Grace Ibuna), Cloie Helena (with Jenny Syquia-Skarne) and Samantha Alexis (with Genevieve Yatco Gonzales)

She was the reason for the sensational killing of a businessman’s son which sent Eddie Fernadez and Berting Labra to prison.
