Alwyn Uytingco





Alwyn Uytingco or Cipriano Alwyn Sumulong Uytingco III (born February 11, 1988 in Quezon City, Philippines) is a Filipino actor who is part of Star Magic, ABS-CBN's Talent Management & Development Center. He starred in both of Star Cinema's Ang Tanging Ina films with Ai-Ai de las Alas, while his most notable role so far has been as Nikolai 'Nikos' Argos in the ABS-CBN soap opera Kay Tagal Kang Hinintay.Alwyn was a finalist, with Jill Yulo, on Qpids and was most recently seen on ABS-CBN's Maria Flordeluna with her. Uytingco is a member of ABS-CBN's circle of homegrown talents named Star Magic. He is a Star Magic Batch 9 alumni.

Sharmaine Ruffa Rama Gutiérrez (born June 24, 1974) is a Filipina model, beauty queen and actress. She was Binibining Pilipinas World 1993 and second runner-up to Miss World 1993. Prior to becoming Miss World 2nd Princess, Gutierrez was also the Philippine winner to represent the country at the 1992 Look of the Year (now Elite Look) modelling search in New York, USA.


Born in Manila, Gutierrez is the daughter of 1960s Filipino actor Eddie Gutierrez and former actress Annabelle Rama and the older sister of identical twin actors Richard and Raymond Gutierrez.


She married Yilmaz Bektas and is now divorced with two daughters.

Jesusa Sonora was born on July 28, 1941 in the Philippines in Bacolod. She has reigned as Queen of the Philippine Movies and the widow of Ronald Allan Kelley Poe, popularly known as Fernando Poe, Jr.

Susan Roces—She was introduced in Boksingera where she co-starred with comedy king Dolphy. Then films came one after another, including Handsome. Mga Anghel ng Lansangan (with Jose Mari), The Big Broadcast (with Amalia Fuentes), Prinsesang Gusgusin, Sa Hardin ng Diyos, Bandana and Maruja (both with Romeo Vasquez). She appeared in many films with reel and real life husband Fernando Poe Jr. These included Ang Daigdig Koy Ikaw, Pilipinas Kong Mahal, Langit at Lupa, Divina Grasya, Salaginto’t Salagubang, Sorrento and Karnabal. The couple also poularized the box-office series of Manager-Kumander films.

Zoren Legaspi  was born on January 30, 1972 in Manila. He  is an actor and TV director. He  comes from a family of Filipino celebrities. His father, Lito Legaspi, and brothers, Kier and Brandon are all  actors. His spouse, Carmina Villaroel, is also a popular movie and television actress. They are blessed with twins, Cassandra and Maverick, born in the US.

He was once a leading man of beauty queen/actress Ruffa Gutierrez who happened to be his ex-girlfriend. He was also a member of That's Entertainment as a matinee idol. He was nominated for a Best Supporting Actor Award for his performance in the movie The Fatima Buen Story in the Gawad Urian Awards of 1995.
Zoren also directs for GMA for television shows like FantastikidsFantastic ManWag Kukurap and Atlantika and he made his film directorial debut for Ultraelectromagnetic Love ofRegal Films which was to be originally shown in 2008.

RUBEN TAGALOG, RIP




Ruben Tagalog (October 18, 1922 - March 5, 1989) was a Filipino actor and musician, famous for his works in the Kundiman style. He was also a part of the Mabuhay Singers.



He first caught the attention of radio listeners in the '40s when he hosted his own radio program, Harana ni Ruben Tagalog. His baritone voice filled his songs RamonaSayang,Azucena and Nasaan Ka Ngayon with emotion. He revived danzas and balitaws like Nahan Kaya IkawBakit Ka LumuluhaBarong TagalogDalagang Pilipina and Caprichosa. He was the first artist to record Bayan Ko and Ang Pasko ay Sumapit.

She established herself as an award-winning dramatic actress early in her career, winning the trophy for her performance in Mike de Leon’sItim during the 1977 Asian Film Festival. She was critically acclaimed for her performance in Lino Brocka’s 1990 film Gumapang Ka Sa Lusak which won several awards including a Best Director FAMAS for Brocka. She ran for councilor in barangay elections in Quezon City in 2003 and held the position up to 2008.

Melendez was married to actor Jomari Yllana from 2000-03. the marriage was annulled.  Melendez and Ylana have a son named Andrei.In 2006, Melendez married Martin Jickain which was also annulled.
