RUFFA GUTIERREZ
Sharmaine Ruffa Rama Gutiérrez (born June 24, 1974) is a Filipina model, beauty queen and actress. She was Binibining Pilipinas World 1993 and second runner-up to Miss World 1993. Prior to becoming Miss World 2nd Princess, Gutierrez was also the Philippine winner to represent the country at the 1992 Look of the Year (now Elite Look) modelling search in New York, USA.
Born in Manila, Gutierrez is the daughter of 1960s Filipino actor Eddie Gutierrez and former actress Annabelle Rama and the older sister of identical twin actors Richard and Raymond Gutierrez.
She married Yilmaz Bektas and is now divorced with two daughters.

She ran for councilor in barangay elections in Quezon City in 2003 and held the position up to 2008.
Melendez was married to actor Jomari Yllana from 2000-03. the marriage was annulled. Melendez and Ylana have a son named Andrei.In 2006, Melendez married Martin Jickain which was also annulled.

In 2010 she was picked up to star in the up-coming fantasy series of GMA Network entitled Grazilda.

Her most recent projects are in Katorse, a remake of a film starring Dina Bonevie and a remake of the 1983 film Pieta wherein she played amanda which was originally portrayed by her mentor the late Charito solis. She is best known for portraying the role of Lavinia Arquelles in the movie Bituing Walang Ningning.
